Having established his reputation over many years as a prominent photographer through his Scottish Landscape images. Lindsay has exhibited at galleries in the USA and UK including the Arsenal Gallery in New York, with work also showcased at the City Art Centre, Edinburgh.

His fine art images have been selected by The Royal Scottish Academy Edinburgh, and The Royal College of Art, London. In addition a collection of his images were exhibited and auctioned at
Sotheby's New York with his work also being featured on BBC TV.

Lindsay was the first photographer to be offered a residency at the prestigious Hermitage artist retreat in Florida, During the residency his art came to the attention of the Worlds pre-eminent Museum of Photography the
George Eastman House. Subsequently, Lindsay was personally given the opportunity to bring the Eastman House's Ansel Adams collection to Scotland, and stage a joint exhibition alongside this iconic Master Photographer. Becoming the only photographer ever to have been awarded such a privilege by the renowned Museum.

The exhibition comprised of 150 iconic Ansel Adams prints and 50 images by Lindsay. Many of Lindsay's images were mural prints printed up to 8' x 4'. The theme of the exhibition was ' Caledonia to California' which celebrated the journey of John Muir from his homeland in Scotland to America.

The
joint exhibition attracted critical acclaim which resulted in an extension of a further 3 weeks to accommodate the record number of visitors.
