Edinburgh Castle - Scotland
Sitting on ‘Castle Rock’ the historic fortress dominates the skyline of the city of Edinburgh. The history within it’s walls fills countless writings and books. Standing on a volcanic plug which created the basalt rock the castle sits upon gives the castle an impermeable defensive advantage. A popular image due to the photographs unique viewpoint, also the moon in the sky gives the image depth!
This image featured in my joint exhibition with Ansel Adams.
